Barnes and Noble

Everyone has heard of Barnes and Noble. When I was a kid growing up in New York City, Barnes and Noble was primarily know as a buyer and seller of textbooks. They started off with one store in Manhattan and branched out to college campuses around the city.

Now Barnes and Noble is one of the biggest retailers and publishers of books and related materials in the world.

You can still buy, sell or exchange textbooks, but now there are bestsellers, CD's, MP3"s, DVD's and much, much more for sale.

However, as far as rare treasures go, Barnes and Noble is notable for the Folio Society, where you can buy beautifully crafted and illustrated books.

For fans of books, new or old, Barnes and Noble is worth the trip.
